I am going to be buying new bulbs this weekend for my wavepoint 4 bulb HO T5 fixture. I really like the white with a bluer look. Do these bulbs look like I will achieve that look?

    ATI Aquablue Special x 2
    and
    Giesemann Actinic Plus x2

    anyone???

    agreed
that will give you a nice blue tint to your lighting

The Geisseman lamps are 22k - I have 2 of them
and although I dont use the ATI Aquablue, I believe they are 14k same as the Geisseman product with same name

IMO the aqua blues will drown out the actinics making for a very white tank. I would go with 3 blue+ and an aqua blue, or swap out one of the blue+ with a purple+.

I heard that the aqua blues were really powerful. How about this combo

    1 aqua blue
    2 blue +
1 Korallen Zucht New Generation 14000K (I read that this one is pretty blue)

    or

    2 x ATI Blue Plus
    1 x Giesemann Actinic +
1 x Korallen Zucht Fiji Purple

    I'm so indecisive...

iLLwILL's suggestion will be very deep blue,
Your original thought will be slightly blue
The second will have a moderate blue look
and the last will look like iLLwILL's suggestion a deep blue with a purple hint

I would suggest getting 2 actinic+ or ATI Blue+, 1 ATI Aquablue Special and and 1 ATI Purple+ or KZ Fiji Purple. I would suggest going with ATI bulbs because they have a higher PAR rating although it is not by much and are quite a bit less expensive than Geisemann and KZ bulbs.

This a link of my tank without my Purple+ in place. This is what iLLwILL's suggestion would look like.

I need to get a pic of my lights as recommended to you. I have all ATI bulbs. I will get a pic this evening.

3 blue + and an aquablue sounds like it will be super blue, but trust me, its not. I use 2 blue+, a purple+, and an aqua blue and my tank is a 12K-14K color even with 4 blue powerbrite strips added to the mix.

Here is the pic I promised. Bulb order is Blue+, Aquablue, Purple +, Blue + front to back.
