Advanced Acrylics are a custom acrylic aquarium company based in Jurupa Valley, California. It was nice to see their work close-up at Reef-A-Palooka this year. Advanced Acrylics makes very nice frag tanks and sumps as well. But it was the frag tanks that really stood out to me - the ones I saw were 3/4" thick with rounded corners. Most of the two footers were priced around $300 which is not the cheapest you could find, but then again, these slightly over-built, drilled-out frag tanks could probably fall off a table and be fine. I really liked them. If you can't afford the beefy ones, you can pick up 3/8" black-back versions without holes or overflows starting at $100 for the 16" and $185 for the 24". And all Advanced Acrylics aquariums come with free shipping when bought online.

I bought an ato tank from them last year after seeing then at the show. They do real nice work and custom made it to the exact dimensions I wanted. Glad you got some pics of them.

wow, nice stuff. The rounded corners are a great touch.

Their work is so good they actually have me considering a Acrylic tank for the first time in 15 years. They did an amazing job on the Reef-A-Palooza 450g display tank.

Funny how even with it's cloudy state, it was still a big attraction
