It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Huge acan piece, great additions!

Did you get these from the same vendor?

Seems like these pieces have maintained their coloration.

    Thank you Grinder

    thank you Corailline
These where from a shop 3 doors away from the vendor I normally visit
this shop only has 1 DT reef tank, and no stock tanks, I noticed these pieces and asked, could I buy them from the DT - 10 minutes later they where bagged up for me

    Thanks amcarrig
the blue/ pink one was 70 rmb - so thats just over 10 bucks nowdays
the Green one they wanted 100 for it, and as it was part of their display, I paid the 15 bucks for it

the one exception I have found on pricing out here, was a bleeding apple scolly, which was beautiful and the vendor told me he wanted 1500 rmb
which is about 200 bucks nowdays

I was shocked until I saw prices on some US sites

Have you seen many chalice corals over there Steve? They're all the rage here nowadays and, as a result, prices are through the roof.

honestly - I have seen 2 chalices in the last 2 years
    neither of them pretty
1 green one with slightly red eyes and a brown one with green eyes

they where both obviously wild collected as they where both reasonably large

I have seen the variety of chalices on sponsors sites and on members threads but up to this stage they have not become a fashionable coral in the establishments I frequent
