Adding purple goby and yellow watchman goby

The diatoms are decreasing like crazy, clowns eating everytime like therz no tomorrow.. all parameters are ok. What else shud i check? My plan is to add total 4 big rocks, but one per week.. wud that be ok?

 

The reason you add live rock is for more biological filtration. You can change the scape all you want, if your clowns are mean then they'll just take over another spot in the tank. To be honest, clown fish aren't typical reef fish to begin with. Yes, some times you can get some that are mild tempered but every one I've owned got very mean once they matured. Not saying it can't be done but it's always a risk. The rock is all dry then add all at once. If it's cured add over time. Your better off waiting to add fish

Added more rocks and rescaped finally. Now will wait for a while to add more fish.

Yup, iselected rocks before buying and fortunately got one with a den.. .. also wanted to create a valley kinda setup, so did that.

 

So can i add yellow watchman and purple fire goby now? Will my clowns kill them?

 

I wouldn't worry so much about your clowns killing a new goby, I would be concerned about your water parameters where they need to be and maintain them consistently before adding any more fish.

 

I might have to shift the tank, so i might jus add a yellow watchman, n not purple goby.. let see. Tank para are all good

 

Your perameters need to be stable for weeks before adding more.
