This is a reply from Jeff at LifeReef:

The setup shown in the custom page for the 54 gallon corner aquarium is
priced at $789.00 and would be built/shipped in late June to early July. Add
    $13.00 for a MagDrive 9 if you don't like the Rio 3100

I did not like the 75 watt florescent bulb, a 55 or 60 watt is fine.

IMHO that is way too much money. You can save a bundle on DIY and have monet to buy livestock or other equipment.

For a minute there I thought you were talking about the 75 watt light bulb. LOL.

Craig I think his market is Beverly hills.

Including an awesome skimmer, you can DIY for about $500 and get the same thing, eh?

Not using fluorescents. I use flood or grow flood lights.
I do get heat but during these months my temp in tank is lower at 78 degrees.
I am thinking about an extra heater in the refugium or sump but have not pulled the trigger on that.

Thanks Nautilus. I was just wondering if the regular flourescent aquarium light would be any good for a refugium. How about some type of a plant grow type of a flourescent bulb? I'm trying to use the fixture that came with the tank instead of buying something additional. The clip-on light is a good idea though.

    Thanks,
