I'm running a Giesmann. I had ATI and it's nearly impossible to see the difference. I think the Gies is slightly brighter ---maybe.
For aesthetics I much prefer two blue + vs. one blue+ and actinic. It's brighter and my corals pop the same. But I'm running the 420 for now to see if the corals prefer it. Which will be really hard to tell lol. I also run a buildmyLed actinic strip that makes all the difference. The 405nm amplifies the wow.

I am running Hamilton T5 bulbs.

Their 460nm blue is as good a bulb that I have used.

Matt I would suggest true actinic or 1 true actinic and one blue plus. Not sure how many T5 bulbs you are using though.

Thanks all, I am using 2 T5s along with a 150w halide DE.

I will keep ATI in mind. I might have a chance to try out the Hamilton 460s, so that could be cool. I will follow up.

you can not go wrong with either ATI or the Geissmann bulbs.

I used the ATI Purple plus or Coral Plus. Since you have 14K MH I think it will be a nice addition.

I'm running ATI with my 20k radiums. True actinic and blue plus is my combo. I like the way they look together and the corals pop nice. I also supplement 3watt blue led spot lights from deep blue to give an extra fluoresce.
