    Hello,
Started filling my 110 acrylic today and it is currently half filled and is warping; it is bowing out a good 1/2 inch and is only half filled!! Just how much is acceptable AND safe? I'm not filling anymore water until I know this thing will not burst! It is a 6 sided tank 61" long, 24" tall
    Thanks!

Fill it outside with freshwater first so you can see the effects of warping at full. That way u dont waste saltwater, have water carpets, etc.

The fellow reefer I bought it from had it up and running days before I bought it, so I assumed all would be good... and did not water test it before bring it inside. It is in a bedroom almost half filled with RODI and 60# sand, no salt yet. I assume the bow will only get worse and wanting any feed back of anyone else that has a bowed acrylic before I go any further.
This will be a lesson learned either way - don't trust anyone's word when they are getting your money and ALWAYS do a fill test outside first!

Is there a brace on the top?

This is the question of the day. If there isnt a brace I would be very worried.

The top is well braced in comparison to other acrylic tanks I've seen.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Oh wow,

No idea what you payed for it, but with that much water on a used tank with that much of a bow I would feel uncomfortable.

Hope it ends well for you, I myself would be looking for a refund and return of the tank. Uncomfortable for those involved but hey you forked out the money and you have the potential for a huge loss once it's filled with rock and live stock. The integrity of the tank seems compromised to me. JM2C.

    Good Luck
