acropora is changing color

    same thing happened to a birdsnest I had, I just broke off the good parts and superglued it to a piece of rubble. Grows great now... good clippers make this a snap..no pun intended

    Most species of Acropora require intense lighting. Going from 400watt halides to 150 halides is a big jump and could stress your acropora and cause it to bleach. It may regain color if it is able to find a different strain of zooxanthellae as a replacement for the one it is loosing causing it to bleach!!!
    Try moving the coral as high to the top of your tank as you can and see what happens.
    You also should take a look at your water parameters!
