Acropora dieing

my gf has one in her tank and its starting to die. i tested her tank and everything is where it needs to be. she has read a lot on it and i was wondering what advise do you guys have about the care of them. she has one that is orangeish in color. im not sure exactly what kind of Acropora this is.

Define what you mean when you say that it's dying. What exactly is happening to the coral?

 

there is a branch that is very white at it appears to be spreading

 

she just told me its deep water acropora

 

are the polyps still there?

Is it loosing its flesh? Can you see some nudibranches on it. If so then welcome to the acro eating club...;D
