I also have 6 assorted mollies (fry) to maintain the nitrate and ammonia bacteria in my sump, which I have not yet plumbed to the display tank.. last I checked the nitrate, nitrite and ammonia were a tad high in the sump, so I dropped in some live rock, then the fry and now everything is reading 0. So it is cycled when I plumb it to the display.

Mollies move to saltier water to birth their fry.

The temp in my display is 75 F. And they have ferocious appetites.

I'm very curious about the schoaling behavior with the biggest fish in the tank. The foxface is about 7 inches long, and the Chromis and damsels are very small 1.5-2 inches, but they all leave the mollies (1.5 inches) alone when foxface is nearby. When he is a few feet away then the damsels will nip the mollies and the mollies figured that out. So they stay just under the foxface, touching him and picking at his gills, pectoral fins, and underside. And the damsels give him lots of room.
It looks like sharkweek in the tank and the fox is the shark with his little cleanup crew clinging to his underside. looking for scraps.
