Acan or blasto?

    That was my guess as well. Heads look connected more like an acan would be but smaller. Still very hard to tell from the pic.

    Can only do so much with this phone, sorry. It looks different than my other acans. The closest resemblance is micromussa but who knows. Thanks all for trying to help.

    same here. I've seen that color pattern on blasto and acans before though it is pretty rare for a blasto. I'm leaning towards micro now.

    IME, a blasto will envelop a chunk of meat (the whole head will wrap it like a baseball glove around a ball) while acans will more just use their center mouth to bring it in. I guess I'm saying to feed it and see how it reacts.

    Good point, it doesn't eat like my other acans. I messed up my first post. I meant to say its growing slower than my other acan colonies, all my acans have been growing like crazy except this one. It grew 2 heads by the time my acans grew 6. Micromussa seems plausible to me.

    The first picture is a pissed off acan.

    The second picture is a happy acan.

    :p

    It's not a micro; the polyps would not be bigger than the zoas in the background if that was the case.
