There are some coming out of Diver's Den that seem to be doing well. I trained mine the good ole fashioned way and I consider them my best accomplishment. Them and the blackfoot lionfish.

When I get them painted, should I have one looking at me like it the pic or should they me oblivious to me being there. I actually have a special bond with her over him.

I was thinking of getting these guys swirling somewhere in the background, slightly out of focus like the pic.

I hated that tank for taking pictures. Grrrr!

Update, almost 2 years in and the male is beng a little rough with the female lately. If he continues, he'll come out.

Wow. Those are some fantastic fish you have there. I've always been a fan of the Orange Spotted Filefish and hope to have my own some day. Good to know they're hanging in there. It's quite amazing that they're eating frozen food as well.

I'm thinking it has to do with sexual maturity and a too small tank.

Thanks for the congrats. Them and my black foot lion I consider my best accomplishments.

Love these guys! Had mine trained on cyclopeeze but left for a day trip and he got skinny real quick. You have to feed them 4 times a day, their metabolism is so quick...

They don't get skinny in a day or two, though.
