Matt what did you think of the shimmer effect? I know that the multichip Ecoxotic cannon was unreal and much better than any LED or MH light source than I had ever come across. Can I assume that these are the same? One is being brought to our club meeting on Friday so I can't wait to get my hands on one.

No problem Clark. I enjoy doing this when I can.

Shimmer effect was great Greg. You did not have to squint for it. Think of this as a mini-cannon. I am sure you will like it. Give us an update after your meeting. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Would 3 be fine for a 180? That is one for every 24X24X24 area. Been eyin these for a while, I defineatly will set them up on a new tank.

For a while I was wanting to go with LEDs. Then I figured the costs and it was going to be $800 + for a good light system. I decided to go with T5HO or MH - still never bought anything yet.

These have definitely caught my eye. I want to get 2-3 for a 75g. :D

    Spoke to rep today...

Confusion from the labeling - Pictured in this thread is an A150W prototype that has a H150W label - the Aquarium 'A' version had UV and white unlike the grow light version.
