    Well before the cicaidas came in may i started working a pond in my girlfriends backyard. i finally got some pics and i wanted to start keeping track of everything. I'll add more info and pics as i get them. any comments or advice is appreciated.

    well i installed the bulk head and layed some rocks down also we had to pull back the liner and add more sand to the edges to prevent run off from entering the pond. tonight i am hoping to get the waterfall plumbed and finish laying the first layer of rock. all i can say is we picked the worst weekend so far this summer to work on this project it has been sooo hot saturday was 95, sunday was 96 and about 78%humidity.

    to be honest i have no clue, i thought something fun for the summer like a peacock bass. but they have a zen theme in mind for the backyard. so it will most likely just be koi, and similar.

    well the owner of the house decieded they wanted something a little different so we added a shelf to hold the potted plants and it ended up making the pond wider. wasn't sure if the liner was going to fit or not. so we just started filling and everything is going well. now the size of the pond is up near the 1800 gallon range now. still working on the rock work as well will have some more pics up this weekend as we put the finishing touches on
