    It'll be going on a 75. I'm thinking the 700 or the 1500gph model. I'll ask around, but input is appreciated.

    I went with the 1500. I have one line coming down into my skimmer section with a ball valve almost all the way open. I have the 2nd line going to the other end to my fuge with the ball valve only about 25% open for a slower water flow through my fuge. Plus with the ball valve almost all the way closed it is not doing exactly 1500. Lower.

    I would have liked to do 2 700s. One at each end, but the cost/ benefit ratio was not there.

    You could always make an overflow box like the one you got at hole glass? how did you get it attached silicone?

    dont use the watts per gallon rule but i have a 90 with 6 t5 ho and 2 t5 no and i could keep any softie and any lps and some sps high up

    No it screws on. With greased gaskets on the inside and outside for a water seal. I am sure someone could make one out of thick acrylic.

    I went in another direction with my lighting than on the post above. I am setting up 2x250 watt Halides with 2xT5 ac. Retro kit I got off a friend. Great set up with a great price. I never finished my T5 and have 2 IC 660 Ballast in box to sell now...
