    LOL It would work for me. I think I made a mistake with that RB bulb.I think the circle in the middle is where the blue leds are.Ia think for an ats you want all red.Macro's would be fine though.

    Ahh, interesting observation. I was considering an all red diy but don't have the time. The new Santa Monica ATS's use all reds, but all of the other fuge lights I've seen use red in combination with other led's.

    The blue helps penetrate deeper water and for what I am using it for I really didn't need it.I have been reading conflicting points on the correct spectrum but a Nasa study found you could mix blues in at a 7:1 ratio. The RB is 5:1.
    I am going to just try raising it a bit to see what happens.

    Just sat here and read through this whole thing. Sorry bout your losses there in the middle. Seems like you got a good handle on things there and everything looks great. I think I have what I call a three fish curse on my tank. No matter what I add it seems that I always end up with three fish. SMH Can't wait to see the new set up.
