I bought mine off Ebay, but I don't see the smaller version on there. You can get them for $37 including shipping here MarineDepot.com

They have an easy on/off switch, but you can also buy the R2 controller that changes the intensity of the light according to the lunar phases, for $30. R2 Moonlight Controller

I didn't buy that. I'm just going to use the on/off switch.

well im trying to prioritize my spending to try to move out of the house i guess i can go without the R2 Moonlight Controller, $37 is very tempting. How are they instaled, do they just get hoooked up to the back of the light and dangle there?

lol spending money on the tank is so much better than spending money on a ton of shoes like most people do :p

Sooo easy to install! They come with brackets that the lamp fits into, and two pieces of double sided foam tape, one for each bracket. Stick the tape onto the back of the bracket, and then stick the bracket onto the light fixture (wherever you want to put the moonlight).

I did it in about 3 minutes! Also, the bulbs turn in the brackets, so you can adjust them to however you like the light shining into the tank.

sounds really easy, i seem to be having a hard time finding your exact moonlights, the link didn't seem to work exactly right.

I think i will impulse buy once i find the exact ones, i hate that im buying a new thing but ive always wanted moonlights
