    I plan on getting 10-15 pounds of live rock. Maybe more - I'll see how it goes! :)

    Haha well it's all put together except for the plumbing. It does NOT look pretty. In fact, it is hideous. But as long as it works, that's okay! Of course, who knows if it will work either....:-/

    LOL Thats all that matters, if it works well. Cause frankly, it really shouldnt be visible :)

    Why is it hideous? Maybe some pics will help experienced sump builders help you out. I am guessing the silicone is everywhere?

    Ding, ding! You win! The baffles were not wanting to stay put, so I had to put on massive amounts of silicone, and then it was like flinging everywhere. Lol it's a mess!!

    no worries. you can always razorblade off the stray silicone.

    and as NeighborTom said... it adds character!

    is the sump and baffles acrylic? best bet is to use acrylic cement, especially if the sump is not being used at the moment
