VERY well put, Zach :) No need to feel bad at all, water is water, it's not going anywhere. Dump it on the lawn, goes into the ground, waters the grass, plants, and all that other useful stuff.

Fine! Gang up on me and I will crack under the pressure.

I'll look into the RO units. Probably would be good to have for drinking water anyways....if I want to wait 10 minutes for enough water to drink! ;)

    Thanks :)

Hah. Don't drink DI. I drink the RO water though. Get yourself jugs and keep them full - it tastes better than tap, too. That RO unit will pay for itself in no time and you don't have to haul jugs.

I'm pretty sure where you buy your water, they had some waste while running through their RO/DI anyway, you just don't see it.

I like your aquascaping, how come women are better at decorating?;D

make sure you also have a place to store the water container or whatever your going to use. that's also why i don't have a ro/di unit. But with having a smaller tank its not to horrible going to the lfs and get water especially since i only pay like $11 for 20 gallons of water. Only thing that sucks is lifting the 5 gall water jugs, sooooo heavy.

But with a big tank like yours deffiently get ro/di imagine how many jugs of water you would have to lift just to fill the tank

I purchased two 55g plastic drums to store my ro/di water in. One i use for make up water, the other i keep a constant supply of fresh saltwater for water changes in it. Works like a dream having that much water storage. Plus the drums only cost me 10.00 each :) There is a guy in our town that gets them from food venders, mine use to be full of blackberry jam :)
