    I use the dual float valve model. It's cheap and easy. Unless you constantly want to top off your tank every day and have your salinity flux constantly - I would use one.

    Make sure you order a refractometer as well.

    I thinkere might be a reason for that.....Waste water. I have horrible water my 75 gpd ro produces 35 gallons a day on a good day. It makes me think

    Do you have a Ice maker in your fridge. You could just tap into that 1/4 " Line going to your fridge.

    I know. It just wastes so much water! It would make me feel terrible.

    Why would it make you feel terrible.

    Not like the water is taken off the planet to never be used again.

    It becomes waste water and is eventually recycled for use again, either by the city, or is returned to the earth and is filtered naturally to eventually return to the aquifer, rivers, lakes, wherever.

    I don't know. It's like leaving the hose on and it pouring water out into the grass. It's just not something I like to do!

    But I will look into the RO unit.
