Haha I'll update it once he lives past the 2 week guarantee! I have 4 fish to put on there. Lol I don't think they will all fit!

I love the MP40. I definitely think its worth the money. My GHA was a little insane. About 3 days after adding the MP 95% of the GHA is gone; and this one power head replaced two K4s! Also I've noticed a lot less detritus collecting in areas of the sandbed, so the flow down there is much improved as well. And the fish love it! They love swimming into the current. And all the different modes...oh man, this thing is definitely worth the money! I'm working on getting one for the other side of the tank.

Oh also, my coral look a lot happier. My hammer coral has almost doubled in size.

    Well here's a tank update:

*I spotted my first asterina star today! I know they can be pests, but I love them :)
*Coraline algae is starting to spread to my base rock, yay!
    *My GHA is DEAD!
*All my coral are doing really well (I just added a bunch, see my "new coral coming tomorrow" thread for pictures)
*My sharknose goby is in love with my red velvet wrasse, Rex, and chases him around all the time trying to clean him. Rex will have none of it and is totally freaked out by the little guy. The goby doesn't pay attention to anyone else. It's really funny!
*Those hard, white, spiral worms are taking over my tank. They are starting to move onto the front of the glass, is there anything I can do about them?
*I named my tang Monty, and he's doing really well. He's eating mysis, brine with spirulina, and ON formula 2 flakes, as well as his seaweed strips. He is so cute!
*My female anthias is still working on her change to male. She is very large and her fins are starting to turn pink/red. This is a new development, so I'm very excited! She has also started eating shrimp again, so that's great.

Well.... that's about it! :) I might post some pictures tonight of the tank after I do a water change. Thanks for reading!

good write-up! gotta love when the coralline is forming on the rocks and not all over the glass.. with less GHA on the rocks will help coralline too.

Haha you were right!! The sharknose is one of my favorites. The gold stripe comes out for a few seconds every day. So I know he's alive!! I don't know what he's eating...but he's cute! I'm hoping as he gets bigger and stronger he will come out more.
