Better. Getting better. Verrrry slowly. It's so frustrating!! Some nights I can sleep 7 hours without pain, others I wake up every 2 hours. But I can touch my stomach again!! Before it was so tender I couldn't even poke it. If I brushed up against the counter or something the pain was so bad I would get dizzy. I'm off the antibiotics and have 4 weeks of acid blockers left. Half way there!! Still get pain about every 3 hours, but it's not as bad as it was.

 

Wow, I seriously feel for you.. I don't think mine was that bad.. Then again after going through some serious pain, it never seems so bad afterwards..

I hope it gets better soon..

 

Yeah, mine was really bad. I was worried I was going to be hospitalized. Thanks goodness no (knock on wood). When I think back to the first symptoms, that weren't too bothersome, like heart burn, I had the ulcer for 4 months before being diagnosed. So it had lots of time to get nasty.

 

I bet you'll listen to your body a little closer after that.. I definitely stepped up check ups.. Don't tell the elders, but I feel like were getting old..

 

LOL I'm having a crisis about turning 25 in March. Serious crisis. And this ulcer only made it worse! I'm too young to have ulcers!! Lol And sometimes I have to sit down slowly!!

 

if it makes you feel better i discovered that i had a hurniated disc in my back at 25 and had to walk with a cane for 6months. but, years later im fine now. you'll get through it. you seem like a trooper :

 

march is too soon.. Im at the end of may and freaking out.. I feel like this is the real transition from young adult to actual adult.. terrifying times lol
