NO kidding!! But I think I'll just buy some baby ones off the internet so they won't outgrow my tank before I can upgrade in a couple years.

Ones I've seen have been nowhere near 250 and 500 and they are very, very pretty. Shop around. Call John at Fish and Other Icthy Stuff in Oldsmar, FL. He ships and his stock is awesome.

Those Cardinals are awesome!! I might get me a school ;D

Should I do it? It says they are very hardy and easy to care for...they would shoal...which I want! And they stay small...

I think they would look awesome under my actinics!

I would not put them in a cycling tank. I would have no problem cycling with a clown or other fish in the damsel family but probably not these. Maybe get them, put them in the 37 temporarily and then get a clown or another pretty damsel and cycle the 90 with it, then transfer the cardinals?

Hmmm...I don't really want another clown, because I already have one...unless it's a gorgeous picasso, which I don't want to pay for....and I'm not sure if I want a damsel because I don't want it turning into a terror.

:p Get a picasso, when the tanks params start to elevate, move him to your smaller tank, then move back when safer :)

Hmm. Dilemma. Call John and see what he has in stock and how much shipping would be for you. He typically has very good prices and I've never seen an ugly fish in his store. See if he either has a set of Picassos or could get some for you. I bet the shipped price for a pair of them would be under $250.
