    Yea I feel your pain all my fish died from a unknown reason so for now I'm just keeping corals and my clam

    Thanks, it is unfortunate, but like I had mentioned before, I am ready to start stocking, water is much better and I am very excited to be back.

    This morning I found my Zoa frag had fallen and was sitting on the substrate. I set it on a piece of rubble rock (flat and round as seen in the previous pic). Was hoping that it would attach itself.

    My questions are: Will the Zoa eventually attach itself to this piece of rock? If not, how can I get it to stay? or is it better to keep this coral on the floor?

    My lfs told me to put the coral about half way in elevation in my tank. It is currently in a good spot (I believe).

    Zoanthids are slow to attache. Personally I would take some superglue gel and glue it to a small piece of rubble, place in an area of low flow. Use a small amount of glue and try to only get it on the base of the zoanthid.
