    Back at it again. No idea as to when I'll get it wet (bought the tank a year ago), but here's progress.

    I'll be making doors, possibly wood-framed glass and a canopy.

    Staining. Probably a darker color.

    Sweet! If you do glass on the doors, you might think about frosted glass. Will you have a sump/refugium, because lighting that opposite the display tank may light up the room at night.

    Yeah, if I go glass, it would he frosted. I'm not sure where the tank will go, but it won't be in the bedroom, do a reverse light cycle (yes, I plan on a fuge/sump) will be an issue.

    Looks really nice! I'm always impressed with people being able to build things themselves! I should have taken shop class in high school instead of home ec. I would have used those skills much more! lol

    I was fortunate. My old man had plumming, electrical, wood working skills
    That he passed onto me. I also had experience in building our house and working construction through college.

    I learned a lot just by building.
