I thought you upgraded! That's a big system. Did your STN disappear for good?

So I have a few corals that need coloring. My phosphates are .06 ppm on the ULR.

My lights (taotronic) are set at about 25% blue and 25% white. They are running for 7 hours a day.

I have two ATI T-5s as well running the same time with reflectors.

I have almost no algae growth, besides film on the glass every couple of days.

I do have color, specifically on the tips of my acropora, but the rest of the body is brown. My montipora are colorful as are my birdsnest. All but one of my acropora seem to be brown, however.

My coral are about 18" below my lights that runvwith optics at 25% power. Is it a light issue or a nutrient issue?

I am going to lower phosphates too see if that works. I've been using RO water in my ATO and for water changes. I think it slowly contributes to an overall increase in phosphates. I was near 0.1 ppm, which is really high. I think that may be why my acropora are more brown in color. I'll be doing 2 gallon water changes weekly with RO/DI and topping off with only RO/DI. That should slowly bring me down and color up.

After my water change, I'm down to .043 ppm. I was 2 weeks ago, 0.09 and then 0.07 last week.

I went bare bottom last night. Looks sleek and modern with my newly painted black stand.
