I would point both returns at the surface. Try to get the surface to be quite rough looking.

Yes, he just looks super stressed. Turn the lights out and give him some time.

I've heard a lot of people say their blennies poke their eyes above the water surface and look around. He's probably just checking out his "tide pool" and is looking to see if his old tide pool is nearby LOL.

I did notice that your temp was 82 a little high?

But just a word of advice when putting a new fish in.

Always turn the lights out for the first day. And it takes some time for them to get use to things. Don't worry unless after three or four days he does not eat.

well he hides at the corner of the tank, either left side or the right side instead of the overflow. If I get close to the tank he hides in the side and starts to turn brown. If im just sitting down on couch like right now, he will swim around for like a minute or two then get back in the corner.

Atleast his not resting on the overflow part anymore. I wish I had some fish taht would swim out in the middle, tank looks so boring lol.

Nemo 100% only hangs out at left corner side always, i have yet to failed to see him in the middle. I had him for 2 years since my biocube 29, he would always hang out at corners.

Yellow watchman goby is hardly ever seen, since him and his friend pistol shrimp are having sleepover under the sand.

And Midas blenny always hides when I get close, and swims very little so far. I just wish he would hide in rock works instead of the corner
