    thank you Brennan

    Thank Jonjonwells

Thanks Skyfire, you dont need a large tank and if you like plants there are so many to choose from

    Thanks Stoney waters

Glofish are cool and I am running actinics on this tank at present so they would really glow I believe
location issue for me, plenty of saltwater T5 tubes, but for freshwater , they only have T8s in the plant specific lamp varieties

    Thank you John
using the Seachem excel on a daily basis and the flourish twice per week at present, do need to lower the average K on my lighting still (see above, availability being the issue) as the cabomba is a bit stringy due to growing so quickly upwards and not developing the leafs pro rata

If you can get Ambulia instead of the Cabomba. It will grow denser and prettier than Cabomba. Cabomba is a hit or miss plant in aquariums.

    I will check it out

I am going for my Christmas gifts in 50 minutes, 4 hour return journey
some basics required (Carbon, reef putty, Geissemen aquablue x 2 etc)
but I will also be looking at the plant suppliers

Check out Limnophila sessiliflora as well..
    Plant Details

Can also take a peek here at a lighting chart that links species names to the tropica database.

Note the forums have been taken down on that site long ago .. only keep the domainname active for a few behind the scenes itemsthat I can't be bother to move.

Glad ya like it I spent hours creating it way back when I was starting tthat site.. Got side tracked and the site never got finished but stuff happens..

One day I hope to get back to that chart and add some of the stuff tropica has added to thier line since.
