40b DIY LED questions

honestly i don't know squat about the reef angel! i'd shoot ingtar a PM and say what you are getting! A rapidled 24 led system with meanwells and the reefangel! Ask if they're compatible! he can help ya with that way more than I! my guess is you're good, but he may tell ya to get different drivers so they'll work together!

 

He told me that the reef Angel is capable out of the box for leds ill have to ask about the details

Which rapid 24 kit are you planning on getting?

 

I'm not sure exactly which one. I want it to be as cheap as possible though. Everyone tells me 24 leds are more than enough for my tank. I'll probably do that i saw the solderless kit and it is cool but if i can save some money ill look into ones that I would solder myself. I'm completely open for suggestions

 

Ok, I'm just following along to see what people suggest for you is all. I may end up doing something like this myself. I like diy projects as well.

That is awesome. I think that I got my idea from nano reef or reef central. I can't remember now. I just googled it, and one of those forums popped up lol. I improved on it just a little bit from what the original person had done.
