    Whale sharks need 4 million gallons or more according to LA. But you could do a couple bottle nose dolphins. I'm putting 3 bottle noses, 5 blue tangs and a small bull shark in my biocube 29 reef.

    I like the DIY aspect too brunoboarder and the natural sunlight.
    If the frags were not in there it would really be aesthetically pleasing to me in that last shot. Cool tank.

    Man there are so many great ones here.. I am going to be browsing this one for long time. Great job all!

    lol it took me about 6 hours straight to get through it but its a really cool build i highly recommend reading up...i actually found this on accident when i was looking up sources to prove 6500k(normal day light) will grow sps faster but maybe the colors wouldnt be as nice and someone told me i was wrong and vuala i ran into this

    I have always thought Steve's tank was one of the best of all time! It is so sad it came to an abrupt end.
    And you took one of my other favorites! Dangit!!!
    Thankfully, I still have one play to make.

    Heres the description:

    Display tank 75 gallon all glass 48l x 18w x 21h external overflow
    sump 30 gallon + wet and dry
    grow out tank - 45 gallon 43l x 26w x 9h, acrylic
    2 protein skimmers - Odysea improved with recalculation pumps
    DIY carbon reactor changed monthly
    return pump - magdriver md 24
    water circulation - 2 koralia #4
    lighting main tank - 8-54 watts, T5, kz 1 fiji purple
    lighting grow out tank :2 - mh XM, 20k, 250 watts + 2 pc actinic 03 420n + 2 - T5, 39 watts : 1 coral color light, 1 fiji purple light
    2 – 15 gallon tanks used as algae filter with chaeto, caulerpa, helimeda, sand bed 3" deep
    lights for algae filters : 2 - 6400k and 2 - corallife 50/50 bulbs
    calcium reactor - 2 chambers DIY – with Brightwell NeoMag inside
    zeolites reactor DIY
    auto top off manual with reverse osmosis water
    cooling - 2 Current USA chillers - 1/3 and 1/4hp
