DIY was much easier than i thought! plus the boosted controller is super easy! I ABSOLUTELY love being able to instantly change the look and color of my tank! AWESOME

After looking around, I would def vary up the colors, vary rb's with a few blues, cw's with a few nw's and def do more blues than whites! also, consider adding the uv's, def brings some colors out

all blues on! The beauty of led's complete color control!

just a fyi, the left side is 50/50 blue and white! the right os 100% white!

I've had my Radion for a couple months. All I can say is 150% improvement going from AI Sol's to the Radion! Color rendition is better. Algae growth has slowed (probably a combination of things). Polyp Extension is the best it has been. My only knock on it...software. The software needs improving, and I have voiced my concerns with Tech Support.

Help 3reefers by posting your experience with LED's. Your participation is greatly appreciated!

    TANK SIZE 125 gallon

    TANK DIMENSIONS: 72" x 18"

    LED BRAND: Bridgewell

WATTAGE AND NUMBER OF FIXTURES: 4heatsinks with 80 3watt LEDs

    BULB WAVELENGTHS/NUMBER OF LEDS: 36 10k, 44 royal blue

    OPTICS 60 degree

    DRIVERS: maxwellen

    SUPPLEMENTAL LIGHTING USED none

DURATION OF LIGHT CYCLE: about 12 hours

FIXTURE HEIGHT FROM SANDBED:about 30 inches

TYPES OF CORAL IN THE SYSTEM: sps, Zoa, hammer misc mushrooms

HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD THEM (LED'S): 4 months

    PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE:
The LEDs are super bright and I did have to dimm them significantly for a couple months after installing them. My mushrooms are still not happy unless they are in an overhang or shadow. The birdsnest I got a couple months ago is growing great and the hammer is doing well. Both corals are about 6 inches below the water surface. The Kenya trees don't care for the brightness but flourish around the edges and while in shadow. My Zoanthids are doing fantastic they are much more colorfully now and are growing great. I had a slight algae issue for a couple weeks but that may have had to do with nitrate levels and a water change resolved that.

Overall I like the setup but the dimmers that come with this kit suck and the drivers are Definitely cheap.
