Thanks for the kind remarks but we try to give back to the commuity when we can.   These people lost so much, we never think it can happen to us but this was close to home.  

Drove one of the couples that we know to their what use to be their home and all that is there is the fireplace.  They even had a Motor home (large) that was also gone.  Yes they have insurance but that will not cover everything and will take from 4 months to a year to rebuild as there are soo many homes that will have to be rebuilt.

Thanks to all that has helped with donation and we are still excepting them.

 

wow...i can not imagine losing everything that you've worked so hard for...granted they are only material possessions, but still, there are some things that can never be replaced

As we all learn and grow in our knowledge, we then share that information in comments. Every time you start or reply to a thread that is not in the "Bucket" forum it registers as a post. It's that easy.
