Clams are " hermaphrodites" meaning that they are both genders.

The drawing will take place when the member counter at the bottom of the forums page reads 300. Get some good lights and picture one of Barry's beautiful clams in your tank!

i don't know if this has been posted elsewhere on the boards but barry and all the people of clamsdirect are super cool. i visited www.clamsdirect.com last week (i like to torture myself by looking at things i can't have) and there was a message stating that the stockshop had been shut down due to the southern california fires.

    well...

it seems that everything turned out okay for clamsdirect and they're looking beyond their personal setbacks and aiding to the disaster relief

    paste:

Right now, Clams Direct is matching 50 cents on every dollar up to $500 donated towards helping victims of the California fire. These donations will go to the Red Cross where 100% of what is donated will go toward aiding victims.

If you would like to help, make your PayPal donations to: [email protected]

    very cool.
