I'm 6'2" and 185. I was 180 at the start of the summer. Working 24/7 really puts a damper on exercise. After I lose that 5lbs I want to get some muscle back. I plan on ordering p90x at the end of the month. I figure it would be a good way to stay in shape of the winter.

180 is my goal weight, if you are looking to put on muscle don't worry about losing 5 lbs the p90x will take care of everything you want.

6 foot, 200 pounds here. I need to lose about 20 lbs. I literally haven't exercised since high school and that's over 10 years ago. I'm in.

Any ideas on a good starter workout? I get winded going up stairs, so I probably need to start light so as to not have a heart attack, but I don't want to be a year losing the 20, either  My apartment complex has a good workout room with most of the standard equipment.

i was at 230 and i just ran a little, and lifted, now im down to 196. start out on an elliptical if they have it you can go further on that than running a treadmill. get some dumbbells and do bench press curls and what not. then when you improve go higher i started benching the 35lb dumbbells and im now on the 100lbs.

Cool, good idea, they do have ellipticals. I'll start on those and stop eating for 3.

Man, I love the food, I can eat and eat and still be hungry. I'm surprised I'm not 300 pounds.

It's called being 29, wait till your 40 and your metabolism really starts slowing down. Good thing to start now.
