    I agree the prize is good health, less money spent on food and medicine.

    This should be a friendly competition with lots of support and information sharing. Everyone who loses weight and gets in to shape will be a winner.

    I had that problem at 24 years old also... regretfully, I am 45 now and need to lose weight.... I'm in.... I started two weeks ago and have lost 3 lbs... 35 lbs to go...

    I'm at 196 right now, my recruiter says I need to be about 190 before I can enlist.

    6'3 and 175 lbs? That gives you a bmi of 21.9, which isn't over weight.

    I'm 5'11 and my goal weight is 180 which would be a bmi of 25.1 so at the top of the "normal" weight. I am trying to gain weight though for sports, I'm currently 125 lbs so I am with red gambit in the biggest gainers challenge.

    Eat lots of protein and increase your intake, lower your cardio some. Lift hard and good luck.
