    I took a pic of the tank i started maintaining last year for someone today. Kind of an upday, its an ok pic but coraline and corals have taken off...the reeflo 250 skimmer was replaced with a bubble king supermarine 300 which is working awesome.

    i know its a little late but im absolutely sure that stomatello snails do eat coraline algea cause i see it every day in my tank. the only problem is the snails stay on the glass so none of my glass has it but my rocks, snail shells, pipes and everything else is covered. i had coraline all over my glass before the stomatello snails appeared and slowly it all disappeared of the glass and continued to grow and everything else. not to say anyone is wrong or right cause we all know there are unknown factors and every setup is different.

    The only snails that were in the system were maybe 5-10 cowrie snails. His rocks werent even purple, just a poor maintained system before i took over.
