    Oh ok. Sounds good. Just some PVC, a drill & some air tubing is all you will need.

    Well here's the overflow .... I still have to add the air check valve and test it out ... I'm still a little confused on what size water pump I should buy does anyone have any suggestion's????

    I have a 38g tank with a 10g sump/fuge. I use a Mag 3 return pump, and think it works absolutely perfectly for this combo. You get what you pay for as far as pumps are concerned, so don't be cheap.

    PS- I'm pretty sure someone on here is selling one for about $30, used. That is exactly what I would buy.

    what about a mag 5 on a ball valve if its too much flow???

    Is that ball valve on your overflow? You might want to take that off, you only need to limit your return to not flow faster than your over flow will handle.

    That is his OF line. I suggested he have a ball valve just as emergency shut off.;)

    I have two one on the overflow and i bought another one for the return when I make it.....I didn't know for sure if i needed it on the overflow so i just added it just in case.

    Yeah, just leave the OF line open unless you ever have a flooding problem. Adjust flow through the return line only.

    I went ahead a ordered the Mag 5 pump for my sump.... Next on the list I guess is sand, rock, and salt I guess???? I,m i missing anything in between?????
