It will if you use good bulbs. ATI bulbs, but you will be spending around 100$ a year for new bulbs. Just save yourself the yearly fee and get an led

started a group buy, if you click that link, then click the link in the post it will take you to the leds. I have one on my 75gal and love it. Getting another for my 40B frag tank.

Basically 2years worth of bulbs for a light that will last you a longggg time! comes with a 2year warranty.

 

those are nice leds but i would just like to replace my t5's at this point in a year leds will be half the price ....(hopefully)
