yeah, my family expenditure on gas right now is higher than the payment on my 08 sport trac

if these go on sale in OK i may be pickin one up...

biggest concern here is we have potholes bigger than that car, i think OK has the worst roads in the country

Unfortunately they are only selling them in California at this time. Perhaps you can do some creative shipping. :)

No idea. Watching the factory tour video I posted yesterday, I'd say it's gonna be a year or more.

Aptera’s electric vehicle will come with an airbag, but instead of your typical front airbag, it’s in the seatbelt—a design very common to aircraft. The belt looks and operates like a standard one, but the airbag is stored in the lap-belt portion of the seatbelt, deploying up and away from the seat occupant.

Not for over a year. Frankly I am seriously considering getting a refund. The most recent press releases and their web site show a price increase of 50%. I will not pay over $30k for this car. I don't think it is worth it. :p

Plus gas prices have come down from $4+, so there's less need for that now.

Chevy has that new voltage out now 50mpg and up to 140 on electric I think is what I saw in the press release . Supposed to be pretty impressive car . I'd never buy a new X car , Let them make a few million first. Like the Vega or Pinto aluminum blocks low weight and 40 mpg in 1970's problem was the head decks cracked and the heads warped . I say bring the horse back LOL

A Road and Track (positive!) review just came out about the electric version:
    Road & Track Magazine - Exclusive: Aptera 2e (2/2009)

Funny I got more from this review than the company sends out in their newsletters or on their website. :p I am still not happy about the price increase though. That said, I do like the interior now.
