1 led loss=not shabby at all. Congrats;) Damn that heat sink is nice. Luckily, mine will be tucked away in a canopy soon or I'd have to buy those. Awesome build;)

And what ground wire;) but I am plugged into a 3 separate GFCI units for the aquarium

Well I don't feel like that much of an idiot now! I couldn't believe I melted one. Good thing I caught it now though.

Nice!!!! How long is the heatsink? Its relatively short, hence the spot light is very minimal to none.

It's gonna look really awesome!! Put it up there already! lol

ahh, ya get excited and rushed, stuff happens. I fried 2 somehow in a 48 build, and have no idea how. Looks great man! Why didn't you thoroughly answer that awesome question about why you got a heatsink? lol

It's a foot long. I was out doing some errands and getting a haircut, just got back.

Just have to get it hung now. Need to figure out these ferrules and stops.

If they're like mine from rapid, push up through the bottom side of the first and down through the center and out the side of the second, it'll help if you push the stop in slightly.

Yea, it didn't help that I stayed up really late and clustered my LEDs pretty close. The damn colored ones have this annoying film that needs to be scratched for the solder to take to it. Think I knicked it in frustration.

And I figured Shin answered it pretty nicely for me, haha. Guess I could have just wired them up like xmas lights? *rubs chin and thinks*

1 fried led in a solder build, and just due to small lapse of attention, really not bad at all;)

    and yes he did!

And 1 thing I wish I did was run my lights in parallel with 2 drivers instead of the 5 I have now. But it works, and I'm happy as heck, so no worries. Congrats on the build, get them hanging already;)

Thanks Cosmo! At least you get more customization with five drivers, lol.

Well I'm finally completely done. Love this heat sink, looks like a store bought fixture. It stays extremely cool as well. Can't feel any heat when I touch it.

Photobucket is having some issues though, so I will upload all of the pics tomorrow.

Here are some pictures of the finished heat sink and the Typhon.
