A pic would really help especially since it in your sand to.Without a pic and considering the fairly new setup,it's probably just your everyday film algae which is completely normal in a new tank,but being in the sand bed too?,a pic would help alot as it could be something else.

This looks to me like a normal algae bloom, secondary to transferring the tank, rock and sand.

Phosphate and nitrate levels if it get worse, like really worse in the next week.

Phosban or any type of GFO product to remove any unwanted phosphates.

What type of clean up crew (CUC) do you have?

Reef cleaners say Tuesday it should arrive. So until then a little dirty tank. I turned off lights for a day seemed to help.

Where can I order the correct bulb for lightning

 

So today going to make a few purchase. Going to buy a new bulb a Phoenix 14k mh bulb. Also some carbon and a filter bag. Maybe a media rack for it maybe some corals as well never know when your at the lfs lol.

So questions my filter is like this. First section I have filter floss. Second section I have a ball of cheteo and third is just return pump.
So my question is this. Can I put some sand in second section with rock rubble on top of that with chetao ball floating on top. If so how much sand should I put.

Also can I put the carbon bag in third section where return is pump . Will hang it so it does not clog the pump?

A frag rack what is the purpose is it so the frags can grow until you pit them on display or is for acclimation ? Do I need one?

What type of glue should I ask for at the store for frags ?

Can Florida rics and yuma type corals touch want to make a garden so to speak of them?
