We're going to roll with something like this. The lights will be hung from the floating ceiling, the floating ceiling will be adhered to the joist.





This will be on the top and bottom of the outside wall for the pulled cords.

Yes, I'm please with this solution. Spent some time on Angie's list and I found my contact person. They do all sorts of home remodeling, but also do Handy Man jobs. That may be the perfect combination..... and the fact that he got As across the board. I couldn't believe how many Fs there were for many different Handy Men.

 

Well, he was here and will be emailing me an estimate tonight.

May I gripe for a moment about people who don't give great customer service...... WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH Y'ALL. They said they would shoot an email over to me that evening and still nothing. So, they wasted my time waiting for their late butts the day of and now I have to waste some more time going back over all of the references. I'm not hard to please, but I am easy to tick off.
