Great looking tank. I can't wait for these bubbles to clear out so I can move forward with my dream

The returns fit with no extra room. Really thinking about doing a much bigger DIY sump in the near future. Do you have any pictures of your sump? Anything you really like or wish you could change on your design?

I'm not a big fan of my DIY! I'm too OCD for it. I like the organization of a true sump with actual baffles and such. On the other hand my DIY cost me prob 1/4 of what a new sump would cost, maybe less. I just tried taking pics but they are coming out too dark from my iPhone. Todd Sails has the Taj Mahal of DIY sumps.

    Thanks... I've messaged him.

I'm also swinging by the LFS today and talking to them about these micro-bubbles from the skimmer to see about getting the owner to swing back out here and see what's up.

I have the LFS guy coming out on Monday to look over the micro-bubbles. I've pulled the skimmer and gave it a freshwater bath and looked over the fittings and it still gives off the micro-bubbles so I'll wait till Monday.
I'm talking with Todd now about his DIY.
    Thnx for asking.

Thnx Ballgame... .I have a long way to go but water tests are good after a month running and I think I'm getting close to getting paired snowflake clowns and some sort of anemone for them before I start adding my corals.

sorry I'm a little late to the party :) but a skimmer can put out microbubbles while it's breaking it - that can take anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. Possibly by washing it you may have inadvertently lengthened the break-in time.
