    Hello everyone

What do you think of the 2010 Ford Escape? I am looking into getting it as a first car like it has a 95% chance i might get it does anyone have one?

I would buy a good looking used car instead of the Fiesta.

    Escape isn't bad though.

    Both are great cars.

Obviously you really can't tow with a fiesta though.

If it has to be between the two go on what your needs are. if you plan on needing to move some larger stuff or maybe more space for you scuba gear go w/ the escape.

As someone else said, go with a used car. New cars depreciate in value so fast it isn't funny. My car was originally a little over $20k new. I purchased it when it was 3 years old and had 18K miles on it for $9600. Was barely driven by a little old lady (previous owner). Only issue was the back driver's side light was cracked. Only took about $5 to fix. Car was purchased from a dealer. Car was found on eBay. Many dealers are listing cars on eBay and craigslist. I would look around more for a better car that doesn't cost as much.

Used, or certified pre-owned is the best. I'm not an American car fan, but now you can usually get them with a 100k warranty. Shop around. Many CPO cars have a better warranty than new and cost less.

I have had several Escapes as rentals and enjoyed driving them for the most part. The Fiesta I would never consider just out of principle. It also looks like hell IMO.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with fords. It's quite easy to see that ford vehicles are the best american made cars out there, rivaling and bettering some european and japanese vehicles.

GM and chrysler better watch out for the korean cars. Hyundai and kia are already better brands than any GM or chrysler product.

I understand brand loyalty comes into play with cars, but bashing blindly without merit is a little archaic.

I had a '03 Ford Taurus and had quite a few electrical problems with that vehicle. I'm just going by my personal experience. I know quality has improved since then. I also think the name "Fiesta" is a very unfortunate name, it sounds stupid, the car looks bad, and who wants to revive this vehicle?

    Really?

I have really enjoyed the Hyundai vehicles I have driven. Very good quality. The Genesis and Santa Fe especially.
