And then there was 1. One Chromis found dead this morning, the other still upright on the bottom.

    thoughts?

I'd do a decent water change in case you stirred stuff up and caused an ammonia spike! Good luck! How old is the tank?

Chromis are weird. They tend to just die it seems, I have(had) 4, yesterday I fed my tank and all my fish were eating great. I came back 30 min later to look at the tank and I found a chromis dead on the sand bed. I dunno they r just goofy.

The tank is near six months by now. The Chromis have been in for probably four months I think.

I've gathered that they kick off pretty easy.

It's kind of funny this tank sits next to my 45 gallon cichlid tank and my green terror has had a keen interest in the Chromis since the day I put them into the tank

Chromis update, last one still alive. Looks a bit darker in color swimming head up about an inch from the bottom of the tank in the corner. Doesn't appear to be getting any "lift" for lack of a better word. I netted it and brought it near the top near the return for some water with higher oxygen saturation and it swam for a second then as it swam it sank back down to the original position.

The last Chromis did survive and seems to be acting and feeding normally. I hope all that drama wasn't caused by increased water flow. little drama queen chromis
