I agree. it seems like even when he is doing something right you still try to shoot down his ideas, just because you may have a personal problem with him doesnt mean you should give him the wrong advise and make this hobby that much more complicated.

no i am not, and i do not appreciate you attempting to twist things around so you can make another nasty rude unnecessary comment like you do on every thread you post on. i am not trying to give him a hard time i am simply saying that a 5 gallon will work find, but its relative to putting a clownfish in a 10 gallon tank. people agree and people dont agree. it doesnt matter what your o0pinion is on the matter what it all comes down to is he will do what he wants to do.

    ...ugh. Some people.

A single freshwater betta can easily be kept in a 5.5g tank as long as the proper environment is provided. Bettas are not very active swimmers and do not need a lot of room(if only housing singly).

This is my sister's blog. She has had a male betta in a 2.5g tank for probably 8 months now? The first few posts talk about her betta bowl. She runs a Hagen nano filter and some plants in their cor O2. She doses with Flourish Excel for CO2.
