I had that problem when loading from my phone and taking the pic in a certain orientation.

So according to that article 2ppm ammonia is not enuf. ;(

 

Added a pinch of food to the water. Investigating guppies.

 

Nitrates are rising and nitrites are starting to show up

 

Ok the cycle is gaining momentum. Yay! Without anything trying to live in there, this is kinda fun this time so what do I do after the cycle???
Since I am ghost feeding, there is rotting food in there... should I do a wc & gravel clean, or just hire a clean up crew??

 

So... Nitrites are up more, nitrates seem to be about the same, and ammonia has gone down. Is this good or am I supposed to keep my ammonia up while its still cycling?
Anybody?

When you read about the cycle, remember that the ammonia goes to nitrites, then to nitrates?

It looks as though it is nearing the end of the cycle.
