1st coral Dip / Acclimation help needed!

    I always drip acclimate as this gives them the same conditions as your tank water.

    I go three bubbles per second then increase to 5 bubbles per second as the water going in is just about double of the original shipment water.

    I usually have a bucket of salt water ready to add so that my ATO doesnt over do it and put in too much fresh water in the tank and lower the tanks parameters.

    I've had these corals from Aqua SD as well and they did very well once in the tank.

    Always dip as you want to take as little risk when adding new inverts to your tank. Make sure your dip water is from your tank as well to keep the parameters as close as possible.

    Wait !! I thought I bought this frag ;)

    For Ricordia, I would go for the drip acclimation. Something around an hour should be fine...better safe than sorry.

    I have never really dipped mushrooms...
