192watts in a 125 gal

    That's compact fluorescent (aka power compact). Leathers, mushrooms, polyps, and some low-light LPS would be ok. If you want more diversity such as higher-light LPS or SPS, you'll need to upgrade to T5HO, MH, or LED.

    If you choose to upgrade, given the size of your tank, I'd suggest LED. Replacing T5 or MH bulbs won't be cheap. Just do a lot of research; there are several low-end models that won't work any better than your current pc unit.
