    Here's a nice selection of T8 bulbs- 10,000K, 20,000K, Actinic, and 50/50 from a small variety of manufacturers. They fit the standard hood fixture that comes with aquarium kits.

    alight than t8 it is.......... even my height will be jus 15" from bottom as 5" will be my substrate thickness. what height should i place my light from my tank?
